Hi, I’m Jonas
I’m passionate about making unique, custom woodwork that combines creativity with a personal touch.
A new start on the farm
My love for woodworking began back in high school, where I first discovered the joy of crafting something with my hands. Although I initially pursued a different career, I never lost the itch to create. Over time, that itch grew stronger, and I found myself back in the workshop.
A few years ago, my life took an unexpected turn, and I found myself living alone on a farm with my heroic dog called Max.
There, I rediscovered my passion for woodworking. I converted an old shed into my first personal workspace, starting with simple projects using pallet wood.
Exploring creativity through upcycling
Those early experiments quickly evolved into upcycling projects using reclaimed solid wood, marking the true beginning of my woodworking journey.
As I bought more tools and took on increasingly complex projects, I realised just how much I loved challenging myself to create unique pieces. However, the limitations of the shed became apparent, and after some time, I knew I needed a change.
Arriving at my new shared workspace (shed 2.0)
When I returned to the city, I discovered Tournevie, a shared workspace in Brussels that provided the tools and inspiration I needed. This environment was like rocket fuel for my creativity. It wasn't long before I decided to reduce my hours at my day job to dedicate more time to my woodworking passion.
Now, I’m fully immersed in the world of woodworking once again. Exploring new techniques and pushing the boundaries of traditional craftsmanship to develop unique pieces.
When creativity meets precision
I love combining creativity with precision to create pieces that are not only practical but also truly one-of-a-kind. Each project is a new opportunity to challenge myself and bring a fresh vision to life. My goal is to blend function with beauty, delivering craftsmanship that stands the test of time.
Thank you for visiting my website. I’m excited to share my work with you and hope you’ll find something here that inspires you.
